Fares
Taxi rates are regulated by King County and are the same for all taxi companies. Below is a chart that summarizes the fares. You can easily estimate how much your fare should cost by multiplying the mileage rate by number of miles and adding $2.50 for the meter drop. However, keep in mind that this will only be an estimate, extras and waiting times need to be adjusted into the fare price.

There is a $40.00 Flat Rate in effect for trips from the Downtown Seattle Hotel District to SeaTac Airport which applies to all taxicabs that operate in Seattle. Flat rates are in effect for direct trips only, and trips with any stops involved will be charged the meter rate. Also note that there is no flat rate in effect for trips from SeaTac Airport to the Downtown Hotel District.
